CSIR UGC NET Cut-off Marks 2024 – Candidates who appeared for NTA CSIR UGC NET exam have to secure minimum marks decided by NTA CSIR UGC NET for qualfying JRF & AP. As CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted every year and a large number of candidates appeared for CSIR UGC NET exam. University Grants Commission (CSIR UGC) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting CSIR UGC-NET to NTA. There are two main purpose of attending CSIR UGC NET exam (1) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and (2) Assistant Professor (AP) using CSIR UGC NET score card. But for being eligible for these two, candidate first need to qualify CSIR UGC NET exam by securing minimum marks decided by CSIR UGC NET Office.
CSIR UGC NET is a single-stage selection process being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Test will consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers. The Examination shall be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only. Candidates must have scored minimum 55% marks in post graduation (master’s degree) in the concerned subject or any equivalent exam from UGC recognized institute or university.
CSIR UGC NET Cut-off is the minimum marks on which selection of candidates for JRF and Lectureship will be based. The minimum benchmark to qualify CSIR NET exam is 33% for General, EWS and OBC category and 25% for SC, ST and PwD candidates. CSIR UGC NET exam has 3 parts – Part-A, Part-B, and Part-C. However, there is no sectional cut offs, marks obtained in all the parts are taken together while deciding the cut off.
