  3. Hello,
I spoil my gate paper after seeing solutions I came to know about blunders I did in paper.
Now I want to prepare for ies (ee stream) in 3 months .
I left emt, power electronics and half of machine for gate, but I know I can complete these subjects in 10 days . I’m worried about English, general studies and materials . I didn’t even think for ies exam before gate, but now I didn’t have any options left .Please tell me how should I prepare for ies from now in this situation.

    • Hello himanshu,

IES objective paper one will contain general english and general studies questions. As the asked question in this paper are of general in nature so if you prepare 1-2 hours daily these subjects you can easily get good marks in these subjects.
There would be two more objective papers of technical stream related to your engineering stream so you have prepare all subjects which are mentioned in the IES 2016 syllabus for electrical engineering. Just make a time table for next 3 months and follow that strictly.
There would be two more subjective papers of technical stream related to your engineering stream. You can get some idea about what kind of questions asked in these sections of subjective papers form previous years questions.
So first solve previous years papers of both objective and subjective part. You can skip some subjects for Subjective papers.

  7. Sir ,I am final year student from mechanical engineering ,so I was asks to you that can I fill the this form of IES 2016

    • Hello Mohan,

Your success rate will depend upon how much you have covered IES syllabus during your engineering graduation and how well you can recall them.
Also depends upon your plan and strategy for remaining months for IES 2016.
There is nearly 10 days for each subject(almost & average), if we divide remaining months.
If you can cover each subjects objective as well as subjective in these 10 days completely & correctly. You would be in the list of written qualified.

  17. sir
i am starting my preparation in october
my main goal is ese 2016
should i prepare for gate 2016 also or completely focussed on ese
i have attended madeeasy 2014-15 classroom course.

    • Hello meena,

It’s depend upon how much you have prepared so far ?
For what exam you have prepared during your made easy coaching ?
      and
For what exam you prepared after completing your coaching ?

If you prepared for GATE exam during made easy coaching mainly then you may prepare for GATE now after finishing GATE exam you can continue your preparation for IES.
If you prepared for IES at that time then you must prepare for IES only. Because for GATE only 3 months left you will first set your mind from IES to GATE then again GATE to IES. It will reduce your performance level. Because one aim is more directive then two. Final decision is yours.

Feel free to ask if you need any help in future & join us @ Google+ / Facebook for getting regular updates.
