UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts ESE/IES examination for recruiting engineers for various government organizations in the various sector such as Power, Railways, Roadways, Construction, Telecommunication. UPSC conducts Engineering Services Examination (ESE) for Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The selection process of UPSC ESE/IES contain three states which are as explained below :
