GATE Score Formula – Nowadays GATE exam for some papers like CE, CS, EC, EE and ME may be conducted in multi-sessions. Multi-sessions means for the same branch paper was conducted in different days/sessions.
All paper may not be the same in many aspects. So the idea of normalization is being used. Due to the idea of normalization, GATE score is now calculated using a different formula which is as explained below.
After the evaluation of the answers, normalized marks calculated corresponding to the marks obtained by the candidate. GATE score will be calculated based on the normalized marks.
