How to Fill GATE 2025 Online Application Form – GATE (Graduate aptitude test in engineering) online application form filling will start from August 24, 2024 (00:00 Hrs) Thursday.
Candidates can fill online application from between August 24, 2024 (00:00 Hrs) Thursday to September 29, 2024 (23:59 Hrs) Friday.
Candidate have to fill GATE 2025 application form in online mode only using GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).
GATE 2025 Aspirants, Here we are going to explain step by step procedure about how a candidate can fill GATE 2025 online application form.

1. Visit GATE 2025 Official Website
(1) First a candidate need to visit GATE 2025 official website : https://gate.iitr.ac.in/

When a candidate will click on http://appsgate.iitb.ac.in/ , will directed to next page as shown in image-2.
2. GATE 2025 Registration (GOAPS)
(2) Candidates first need to register himself in order to fill GATE 2025 online application form. Click on “New User? Register Here” at the last of the page.

When a candidate will click on “New User? Register Here”, will directed to next page as shown in image-3.
(3) Here candidate will register himself for GATE 2025 application form filling. Here you need to fill 7 blocks of information related to applicant.
[1] Name of the candidate
[2] Email Address
[3] Confirm Email Address
[4] Mobile Number
[5] Password
[6] Confirm Password
[7] Arithmetic Expression
After filling the complete information a candidate need to click on “Submit” tab in order to successfully complete his/her registration.

When a candidate successfully submit his/her registration form he/she will get an Enrollment ID. A candidate can find this Enrollment ID on his registered mobile number as well as on his registered email address. Now candidate will directed to a page as shown in image-4.
(4) Here candidate will enter his/her Enrollment ID & Password. Password would be same which was filled by candidate in the registration from. Then click on “Submit” tab.

When a candidate will successfully enter Enrollment ID & Password, will directed to a page as shown in image-5. Now a candidate has his own GOAPS interface.
Here a candidate can do many things like filling GATE 2025 online application form, uploading various kinds of files, paying application form fee, downloading admit card and viewing result etc.
(5) A candidate is now need to click on “Start GATE 2025 Application From”.

(6) Here candidate need to fill 5 blocks of information related to candidates various profiles.

GATE 2025 Exam Details
Here in this section candidate will enter two details the paper in which he/she want to appear in GATE 2025 examination and choice of examination city. GATE office give 4 choices of cities to a candidate for GATE exam and most probable candidate will get their GATE exam center in the nearest city to their home town i.e., their first choice.
Candidates those who don’t want to travel far from their home town they must fill GATE 2025 online application form as soon as possible in this way they can ensure their exam center nearest to their home town because mostly exam centers are allotted on first come, first serve basis in such examinations.

2. Applicant’s Personal Details
Here in this section candidate will enter their personal detail. First 4 details will automatically fill from your previously filled details while filling registration form at the very first stage of online application form filling of GATE 2025 . After that candidate need to fill some personal details per their knowledge.
After this section candidate will enter their identity proof details. Candidate please keep this in mind only select which ID proof which is completely match with your personal details like your ID photo must match with you it should not blur or dull.
Your name, fathers name, date of birth and address of communication should be same as you are filling in this GATE online application form. Also this is the same ID which you will carry at the time of GATE 2025 examination.
A candidate can choose any ID proof from below given list as per their suitability. List of IDs is as follows :

[3] Driving License
[4] Employee ID
[5] PAN Card
[6] Passport
[7] Voter ID

3. Communication Details
Here in this section candidate will enter their communication detail like address of residence.

4. Qualifying Degree Details
Here in this section candidate will enter their qualification related information. Candidate must take care while filling this section. Many candidates choose different branch in hurry other then their graduation branch or enter wrong passing year etc. So candidate must keep all the necessary educational documents with them while filling this section.

5. Upload Documents
Here in this section candidate will upload three/four necessary documents related to their personal and educational details.
[1] Personal Details : (1) Photograph (2) Signature (3) Category Certificate (If a candidate belong to any category)[1] Educational Details : (4) Certificate from Principle / Eligibility Certificate
(1) Eligibility Certificate
Candidates who have passed the required education qualification examination in 2020 or earlier, such candidates will submit the degree certificate / provisional certificate / course completion certificate / professional certificate / membership certificate issued by the society or institute.
(2) Certificate from Principle
Candidates who are going to pass the required education qualification examinations in 2025 or later he/she have to submit a certificate from Principal or a copy of marks card for section A of AMIE.

(1) Candidates Photograph related Instructions :
[1] Photograph format : JPEG / JPG / PNG
[2] Pixel resolution : Maximum – 480 x 640 (width : height) & minimum – 240 x 320 (width : height).
(2) Candidates Signature related Instructions :
[1] Signature format : JPEG / JPG / PNG
[2] Pixel resolution : Maximum – 160 x 560 (width : height) & minimum – 80 x 280 (width : height).
(3) Candidates Eligibility certificate / Category certificate / Certificate from principle related Instructions :
[1] Certificate format : PDF only

At the last of the GATE 2025 online application form candidate will find declaration they need to read it carefully and check mark as they have read it. Then select source of information about GATE 2025 examination and click on “submit and proceed to payment” tab.
Those who want to process further in later time or want to do some changes later may use “Save” tab for such purpose otherwise you must choose submit and proceed to payment.

(7) When a candidate will click on “submit and proceed to payment” tab they will see a notification window as shown below in which a warning is written about your GATE 2025 online form submission. If you are sure about your details which you have filled in the form then you may click on “continue” tab without any issue.

(8) Once again you will be asked about your GATE 2025 online application form submission. If you think that you don’t need to do any change not now and not in future then you may click on “yes” tab without any issue.

(9) Once candidate successfully submitter his/her GATE 2025 online application form they will receive a message like “Application form submitted successfully” on the next page once they click “yes” tab as shown in image -9 below.
Now a candidate need to pay GATE 2025 examination fee. which is different for different category as written below :

It is issue of GATE server now. We can’t do anything in this issue.
If you can choose Net Baking now then choose that. It is far more easy than Debit card. Use your relatives Net Banking if you don’t have any.

Sir, I have submitted online form for gate 2016 on 15th september but defect was found in my application about pixel resolution of signature. I have upladed my signature on 24th september on the same day defect was found. The current status of my application is “You have taken action against defect. Your application is under process”.
