PGT Age Limit : Minimum – 40 Years
| S.No. | Category of Persons | Age Relaxation |
| 1. | Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe | 40+5=45 years |
| 2. | Other Backward Classes | 40+3=43 years |
| 3. | Women (All Category) for teaching posts only including SC/ST/OBC candidates except for the post of Principal | 40+10=50 years |
| 4. | KVS Employees | No age bar |
| 5. | Candidates with 3 years continuous service in Central Govt. provided the posts are in same or allied cadres | 40+5=450 years |
| 6. | Persons ordinarily domiciled in State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 | 40+5=45 years |
| 7. | Persons with disabilities (including women) | |
| (i) SC/ST | 40+15=55 years | |
| (ii) OBC | 40+13=53 years | |
| (iii) General | 40+10=50 years | |
| 8. | 1. Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved/General) (For Group-B posts only) |
40+3=43 years |
| 2. Ex-Servicemen (OBC) (For Group-B posts only) |
40+6=46 years | |
| 3. Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) (For Group-B posts only) |
40+8=48 years |
# Note :
1. All the concessions mentioned above will be concurrent, i.e. if a person is eligible for more than one concession, only one of the concessions of the highest permissible limit, will be granted.
2. The Cut-off date for determining various eligibility criteria (Educational Qualifications, Age Limit, Experience etc.) will be 31.08.2024 .
3. Applicants must satisfy about their eligibility as on 31.08.2024 before applying.
