I did BE(ECE). From the previous post i come to a conclusion that a candidate can apply for both SSE or JE but in different zones. Am i right sir? Please clear my query.

Also, for Junior Engineer(IT) posts, am i eligible?

I have applied RRB exam and updated center as Hyderabad location when i was in hyderabad, due to some family and personal problem i was moved to my native location which is 24 hrs then my exam center.

I have gotten my admit card for exam CEN 3/2015. But the exam centre is in Odisha. I am in West Bengal and applied under Kolkata RRB. It is very difficult to go to Odisha for exam. I have given 5 choices for exam centres in West Bengal. But is there any way to change exam centres in West Bengal. I did choose bengali as language. Please reply me soon.

My name is Shivam Gupta. Registration Number- 1371332083. I live in Atarra Dist. Banda.
I filled the prefrences Banda Kanpur Allahabad Jhansi in RRB Application.
But now i download my call letter my centre is in meerut. meerut is too far from my town (700km). i am unable to go meerut for the exam. i have sent my problem to RRB Allahabad through email and ticket but didn`t received any email.
Kindly suggest me whats should i do?

I applied for SSE from allahabad zone and I am a permanent addresse of Indore (MP), but at the time of filling of the form i was residing and studying in Jaipur at a rented room. So i gave the address of jaipur in my application form.
AS i am selected for SSE post in allahabad, i want to know all my future communication will be through this temporary address(like Police verification) OR I should change the address.
If there is any way to change the address in the document verfication process ??

si, while entering father name in rrb they atked me to enter father name as on 10th mark sheet, but in my 10 th mark sheet there is no father name thats why i enter my father name as on transfer certificate

I have registered in rrb and also completed Primary Stage due to some error I logout and when I am trying to login again. It is showing an error as Invalid Registration and a date of birth wherein I am typing a right registration number which I have received in my phone and also in my mail ID
I tried doing registration again with same details still it was an error showing as you have already registered

Now coming to the dilemma that I’ve been facing lately is about Question no. 3 in the “Before Filling Application Form” section of this forum. I applied for SSE on 01/07/2015, but my final result and provisional certificates were declared on 17/07/2015. Now in the notification its written that “Result awaiting candidates need not apply”, but while filling up the application form under “Year of Passing” section “Result Awaited” option was provided, what do I make out of this? So am I going to be rejected in document verification if I cleared the written exam? I have applied for RRB Chennai. B.Tech in Electrical Engg.

I Jagdish a graduate in Mechanical Engineering have been appeared both in 2014 as well as 2015 J.E.’s /Sr.S.E.’s examinations of R.R.B Ahmedabad & Ajmer respectively.At recently I have seen the selection procedure at rrb ajmer website are as follows:

As per the recent policy decision of the Ministry of Railways,in future there will be no interviews,On the other hand there will be second stage of wriiten examination,wherever required except certain categories where interviews are still in force e.g.,Physiotherapist,telephone operators etc.

Hence my question is that Is there any other written examination for J.E.(S) as well as Sr.S.E.’s in future who have already been appeared in the O.M.R test(s) of 14th Feb 2014 & 21st Feb 2014 J.E./Sr.S.E.examinations and an Online examination dated 16th Sept to 26th Sept 2015.Henceforth guide and reply me the same and aware such changes in future.

In SSE paper, questions of technical section will be from all streams or they provide diff sets of booklet for respective branches?

I had initially applied for the SSE post at RRB trivandrum and I recieved my Reg number in mail. Later I shifted it to RRB Secunderabad and had completed the registration again and I got the confirmation message but I forgot to write down my registration number.

When advertisment says that the BE candidate can apply for both JE and SSE post ,does it mean they have to appear for two different examinations(JE&SSE)? or the cut off obtained in the SSE exam is considered against the JE cut off requiremnt?.. Because i feel that if the BE candidates appear in the JE examinations they have very big plus over the diploma candidates , this is unfair i think. Pls Clarify.

Also my friend choosen the wrong education qualification as IT and holds CSE degree. Through Allahabad RRB for my diploma in computer science qualification it shows “I am eligible for 2 exams”
1.Junior Engineer(IT)
2.Depot Material Superintendent(General)
For these EXAMS the TECHNICAL SYLLABUS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

May I attend both the exams?
will the both exams conduct at same time on same day OR AT DIFFERENT TIME?
Can I attend both the tests OR ANYONE OF IT?

I search for the above doubts everywhere bit I cannot found it anywhere!

i paid 100 rs in sbi bank on 21 july 2015 but when i open rrb website today it is not paid what i do?

i have applied to rrb ahmedabad & already modified my application one time in the same rrb. now i want to to modify application to another rrb. so i was waiting for since last two weeks, but due to server load in rrb site, i was not able to go after the payment stage. so at that time immediately i tried the post office offline challan & the payment was confirmed in post website, but still i was not able to modify the application. but on 22th july i tried once again & i filled the edit fee through online sbi, but still unable to modify.
today i saw another option in rrb site about uploading payment receipt & they are asking for reference no. & payment receipt. But in my post office payment receipt there is no any reference number. and in my online sbi, i have only bank statement including reference number.
suggest me what shall i do?

my question is if i apply a sse in kolkata and a je in chennai then i belong to a different state(delhi). What will be the exam center i would get. coz if i get a center in kolkata and chennai hen it not possible to travel in both location and finish the exam.

one more question if i apply in kolkata rrb can i choose a different rrb before proceeding to apply.
e.g. i choose secunderabad and apply to a kolkata sse. Is it possible..

1.For my diploma in Computer Science Qualification,I found 2 Category in ALLAHABAD RRB Junior Engineer-Information Technology(JE IT) and Depot Material Superintendent.

But in BHUBANESHWAR RRB for the same qualification,I found only one Category as JE-IT.

May i choose in Allahabad RRB? Because It has 2 Job categories.

2.My department is diploma in CSE bt in syllabus as specified in the notification.they specified all subjects(civil,mechanical,electronics,etc).

I have completed Btech in Instrumention and Control Engg. and while filling the form I have selected as Substream of Instrumention & Control. But options given are, all the post of Mechanical Engg dept and which has got no relation with Instrumentation & Control engg .
Please suggest me what can be done in this case.
One more query , in the zones where there is no option for instrumentation & control engg,can I apply with the substream of Electrical engineering though my degree is in Instrumentation and control engg.

The FAQ section says we can apply choosing our educational qualification as “degree in combined streams of basic streams of information technology and specify our discipline as computer science and engineering in the secondary stage of registration”. But in the primary registration phase “degree in combined streams of basic streams of information technology” option is missing. while that option is available in other rrbs, its missing in bangalore rrb. please help
