RRB (Railways) Previous Years Papers – SSE/JE – As per RRB 2015 notification (CEN 01/2015) RRB is going to conduct an online computer based test this time. So you have to have basic knowledge of computer and little knowledge about how to work on computer. Many candidates are there who neither used computer much nor have much knowledge about how to use computer. Such candidates much check the Mock test provided by RRB for practice.
RRB SSE/JE paper pattern is different than all other competitive exams for diploma/degree engineers. RRB SSE/JE paper contain basics of almost all branches of engineering. So in order to clear RRB SSE/JE exam you have to have knowledge of all branches of engineering. RRB papers generally includes questions of Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronics engineering, Communication engineering, Measurement engineering, Instrumentation engineering, Computer engineering, Environment engineering etc. So one need to study all these subjects in order to clear RRB SSE/JE exam. As you know this is a single step exam. Candidates would be select on the basis of written exam only. No interview is there.

Admin For all the sse posts (civil, mech and electrical) we have the same syllabus ? Or for mechanical posts the questions are from mech only ?

Hello Atul,
Cut off depends upon many factors no one can decide it exactly. Factors like number of applicants, papers pattern n difficulty level, number of seats etc. these factors vary year by year so cut off also vary. In some RRB, 2014 recruitment cut off is 60% while in some 80% no one can say what would be it for 2015 recruitment.
Only one way to get success prepare in right direction and prepare hard.

Sir, i’m little bit confuse about RRB chief deport material superintendent due to syllabus. I don’t able to understand what kind of question will come in paper because all stream of engineers are applicable. May you provide to me “cdms” previous year paper that help me to identify to level and kind of question.
Sir i m a civil engineering student and i fill the paper mode civil and structural in ssc je form but sir in preference we select branch like this civil cpwd then electicalcpwd then civil military then electical military etc so sir is there any problem because we fill electrical post also by mistake ?

sir i am applying for se and je in secunderabad board, i filled my educational qualification as degree in electrical engineering but i did b.tech in electrical and electronics engineering, not me so many of my friends too filled like this only. we didn’t know its mandatory to select the degree as combination of electrical and its sub streams, so now it is impossible to change it. so shall we face any problem during document verification? are we ineligible for selection if we qualified in written examination, i am also waiting for my assistant loco pilot final result, i am selected my degree as same like in se and je ,so if i am selected for this assistant loco pilot in secunderabad board may i face the same problem like in se and je? i am so dissapointed because of visited your site very lately. please clarify me…….
