IES Officer Salary in hand & Pay scale :
Name of Post : Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE)
Salary : During training period, gross salary is around 69,500/-. After deduction, inhand salary is around 64,000/-.
IES Salary (After 6th Pay Commission)
Pay Scale : At the time of joining, the basic pay of the candidate will be Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- along with various perks and allowances.
The IES Salary in India Structure for Entry-level will depend upon the allotted locations. The IES has divided cities into 3 classes and candidates will receive the salary according to the class of the city they are posted in. The three classes are listed below:

- You will be recruited as Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) or Assistant Director (AD) under Engineering Services.
- After 3 to 4 years of experience, the candidate will be promoted to Executive Engineer (EE) or Director.
- After 10 to 13 years of experience, the candidates will be appointed as Joint General Manager or Chief Engineer (CE) of level 2.
- After completion of 20 years of experience, the candidate will be promoted to Additional General Manager (GM) or Chief Engineer (CE).
