CUET UG 2024 City Intimation Slip – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the city intimation slip for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 on May 5.
Candidates registered for the exam can access and download their CUET UG city intimation slip from the official NTA portal at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG using their application number and date of birth.
The city intimation slip is a crucial document that informs candidates of the city where their examination center is located, enabling them to plan their travel and accommodation well in advance.
During the application process, candidates had the option to choose up to four preferred examination cities. The NTA has emphasized that its decisions regarding city and center allocations are final and binding, and no requests for changes will be entertained.
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), has announced that the CUET UG admit cards will be available for download starting the second week of May. This ensures that candidates have sufficient time to prepare and arrange logistics for their examination day.
The CUET is an important annual examination aimed at standardizing entry into undergraduate courses offered by a diverse range of universities, including central, state, deemed, and private institutions.
In 2024, a total of 261 universities will participate in offering admissions through this centralized test. The exam’s widespread reach across 380 cities highlights its significance and logistical scale, facilitating access to higher education for thousands of students across India.
This initiative by the NTA and UGC underscores their commitment to maintaining a transparent, accessible, and efficient admissions process for undergraduate programs nationwide.
