IES 2023 Exam Centers / ESE 2023 Exam Cities – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi conducting Indian Engineering Services(IES)/Engineering Services Examination(ESE) on 19 February, 2023 & 25 June, 2023. There are two separate lists of exam centres one for prelims and one for mains exam. The Preliminary examination of IES will be conducted across 42 centres across various cities of India and the Mains examination will be conducted across 24 centres. Candidates are advised to apply early since the allotment of centres will be made on the first-apply-first-allot basis.

IES 2023 Exam Centers/Cities Selection – Instructions
(1) Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the first‐apply‐first‐allot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants, who cannot get a centre of their choice due to ceiling, will be required to choose a centre from the remaining ones. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice
(2) Candidates should choose the exam centres carefully. No request for change of exam centres will be entertained.
