1. PSU Recruitment Through GATE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria vary among different PSUs, and candidates are required to satisfy all the specified conditions to be considered for recruitment in any PSU.

Below are some common eligibility requirements for PSU recruitment through GATE:

  1. Age restrictions differ based on categories: For General category candidates, the age limit typically falls within the range of 21 to 27 years, while for SC/ST candidates, it is usually 21 to 30 years. However, it’s important to note that these age limits can vary among different PSUs. For example, the maximum age limit for general candidates may be extended to 33 years in the case of organizations like SAIL.
  2. Educational qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. In some cases, PSUs may consider applicants who are in the final year of their graduation as eligible to apply.
  3. GATE qualification: Candidates are required to have cleared the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination in the specified year, which in this instance is GATE 2024. A good GATE score is a crucial prerequisite for PSU recruitment through the GATE exam.

It is crucial for prospective candidates to carefully review the official recruitment notifications of the specific PSU they are interested in to ensure they meet the precise eligibility criteria, as requirements can vary from one PSU to another.

    • Hello pratik,

It’s natural that human forgot things after some time. So you have to recall those things at the same time when you are going to forget them. This forgot time vary person to person and depends upon person’s memory sharpness. As far as I can understand you didn’t revise timely whatever you studied so far. This is the reason you are now facing difficulty in recalling. Here I will suggest you to stop reading new topics from now and start reading whatever you have prepared so far first. Try to short those notes and formulas. So that you will not face this problem while you will revise them again. This is what I can suggest you right now.

    • Hello gaurav,

IES exam is one of the famous exam among engineering graduate. It is conducted by UPSC, So questions asked in UPSC IES exam are always useful for preparation purpose. While we talk about GATE, IES question will help you but not much. So if you have completed your GATE exam preparation then only touch IES questions otherwise you will in trouble at the last time preparation of GATE.
