But I like to know the PSU jobs which are not recruiting through gate exam for the ece student ,please…

    • Hello Gopal,

PSUs which recruit graduate trainees require engineering graduation percentage only. Their selection process are based on B E / B Tech percentage. So if they are demanding 65% or more in engineering graduation then a candidate must have 65% or more. Other qualifications will not alter this requirement.

    • Hello kishore,

There would be nearly 30 or more PSUs which will recruit through GATE 2016 score. Till now only 25 PSUs reveal their recruitment notification though GATE 2016. More will notify in upcoming months.

  21. I will be applying for JRF fellowship through GATE 2016 metallurgy MT.same time I will get phd if I get fellowship.what to do after this phd. Is their any job opportunities for Mtech with phd in materials science/metallurgy in the public sector units including the organization like DRDO, BARC, ISRO, DMRL etc. since because the fellowship is valid for 2-5 years only.

    • Hello avinash,

Jobs in big organization like DRDO, BARC, ISRO, DMRL etc. while having M. Tech. and/or Ph. D. like higher qualification is possible but there are very few vacancies for such posts. For complete details of such posts recruitment you have to search all kind of notification published by these organizations. They also publish notification for such posts but such notifications are not published frequently. So you have to search them on Internet or just visit such organizations “Career/Jobs” section where you may find such posts information. In India generally very few vacancies are notified for such posts.

    • Hello Apoorbo,

It totally depends upon company of which application form you are going to fill. Most of the PSUs doesn’t allow Degree holders to fill form for the recruitment notified for Diploma holders but for core govt jobs like UPSC, SSC, Railways and many more you can apply.

  26. Sir,
I am a b.tech final year student with electronics & communication branch. Can you tell me what are the exams i should apply for ??

    • Hello Shagufta,

You can prepare for IES, GATE exam. Nearly 30 PSUs will recruit through GATE 2016 and the almost same number of PSUs or govt organization recruit during one year period. All exams are objective type other than IES. So if you prepare for one exam that preparation will help you other exam preparation too.

we can give you some suggestion for your GATE exam preparation :
      (1) make plan as per time availability in a day for study exclude other times like daily routine work, office work etc.
      (2) Always study in three level anything :
      1. easy
      2. medium
      3. Hard

First follow easy. Like you are going to study a chapter. Note down all the important topic from exam point of view and study introductory of every topic then move to next chapter and so on. It will not take much time and you will complete your whole syllabus at least once then medium than hard.

Make a time table for a whole day, for a week, for a month and for five months for GATE 2016. Stick to the time table. Must include time for revision in each time table.

Solve previous years GATE papers and solve similar kind of problems from standard book of each subject. Solving previous years papers will give you a good idea about question asked in GATE exam and areas from where they generally asked questions.

You must read these posts. These posts will give you an idea about GATE exam and about GATE exam preparation approach.
